Camaron Ochs

All too recently, this melodically-driven, little blonde began blending the classic feel of early American music (Folk, early Country/Western, Soul) with the sweet shine of Pop. Her storyteller lyrics walk a romantic line between worldly wisdom and Disney charm, and judging by her fan base this sort of thing appeals to all of us.

Camaron Ochs' debut album “Heartforward” (Jan 2010) was released in front of a sold-out audience at Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco. Just a month after the release, the record's first single "You Were Late" began spinning on San Francisco's KFOG, shortly followed by live appearances on Napa's KVYN and Pescadero's KPDO. Critics have acknowledged her as a "local gem" with a "velvet touch", applauding the record and commending its "pretty vocals, charming lyrics... Heartforward is classic singer/songwriter stuff." She was voted "Artist of the Month" by an SF Deli Magazine fan poll and has been featured in the SF Bay Guardian, East Bay Express, Lamorinda Weekly, San Jose Mercury News and more. She has played well-known stages all over the Western US such as The Venetian, Cafe Du Nord, and Crane's Hollywood Tavern (Tour 2010).

Proving it's never too early to give back, Camaron's music has already supported VH1's Save the Music, Contra Costa Children's Chorus, Fonkoze (Haiti), St Baldrick's (Child Cancer Research), and SF's Autism Hearts Foundation.

While touring to support "Heartforward", Ochs (pronounced "Oaks" like the tree, in case you're wondering) has already begun working on a new record set for release in the fall of 2010. Get ready to hear a lot more of this rising folk-pop star.

Drea Poetzsch
Drea Poetzsch

Near the end of April in 1984, little Drea was born and like Cam, her parents were afraid she was going to be a little person.  Some consolation came when she stared to cry, as all babies do, and her family realized a voice that big would need at least a little height to go with it.  A mere 7 years later she was singing every day, banging on keyboards and trying to dance like Michael Jackson.  Through school and music she met Cam and Emily, forged incredible friendships and traveled the world with music at the tip of her tongue.  To pronounce her name properly, just go with Drea Poach. The five consonants in a row just throw everyone off and who ever pronounces Andrea right?

Alicia Flor

Towering a mighty five-foot, three inches tall, Alicia was an immediate stand-out as a background vocalist for the band...and she sings too! Crooning in choir after choir and shower-stall after shower-stall as she grew up around the nation, Alicia found singing as a means to overcoming her bookworm nature and a way to make new friends. She is very proud to now join Cam, Drea, Jason and Patrick in sharing their harmonious poetry with fans all over the Bay Area and beyond.

Jason Shafton

Jason picked up the alto saxophone at age 12 and has been a performing musician ever since.  In January 2000, he founded his independent record label, Rubber Room Records, and began playing bass that same year.  Almost 10 years later, he's recorded, mixed, produced and mastered dozens of projects from ninety-person choirs to heavy metal bands to hip-hop groups.  Jason has performed with a number of touring acts in front of thousands of concert-goers.  But performing and producing Camaron's music is by far the highlight of his musical career.

Patrick Shipp
Patrick Shipp

Patrick is from an ancient time, before tonal instruments.  Food was scarce and language was minimal, so men and women communicated by beating logs and rocks against other, larger logs and rocks.  When he was fifteen, he was frozen in a sudden storm, which turned out to be the beginning of the Ice Age.  In 1999, he was discovered in a small town near Richmond, CA, and learned the ways of the modern man.  However, old habits die hard, and as such, he still prefers to communicate by beating things.
